Brooksource is currently seeking a Sr. .NET Developer to work as a Contract resource for one of our clients in the Public Sector space. This candidate will primarily support the team's rewrite / modernization of a business-critical reporting system and database in the following environment: ASP.NET MVC, WinForms, Razor with Bootstrap, C# with MVC Controller, SQL Server, Entity Framework ORM.
This modernization will involve converting web services into APIs and implementing software enhancements in order to upgrade the knowledge and capabilities of this system/database, like allowing it to speak to other related systems. The candidate will be assisting with a variety of tasks, including designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications, and performing testing and debugging and assisting with analysis and design.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:4 - 7+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET C# development (ASP.NET MVC, WinForms, and web programming).Candidate must understand Agile development concepts. Candidate must be highly motivated, self-starter who works well in a TEAM environment.Candidate MUST possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field or equivalent work experience,
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and experience with Azure Active Directory (AD). Knowledge and experience with Enterprise Data Modeling.Knowledge and experience with Entity Framework concepts.SQL Query writing and stored procedures.Prior knowledge of crime fighting technology at the local, state or federal level is a plus for ideal candidates.
