Senior Shopify Developer

Description

We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to join our team.

EPAM has been selected as the consulting and engineering partner to enable the strategy for growth in digital commerce (both B2B and D2EC).

This position is for those who exemplify engineering best practices and boast steady hands-on experience of rolling out holistic solutions off the Shopify (Plus) platform.

Responsibilities

Introduce new or/and extend existing e-com capabilities to support business objectives of the customerPoC new approaches and features (e.g. product configurator, data migration etc) to enable client's faster time to market, and support further digital transformation in the organisationEstablish Dev process with best practices underpinning continuous delivery and deploymenttowards competitive market environment

Requirements

SDLC understanding (Requirements, Design, Implementation (Coding), Testing, Deployment, and Maintenance)3+ years of experience with Shopify Platform, its capabilities and well-known industry approachesNonstandard Shopify integration experience based on Shopify's GraphQL/REST APILiquid language experience (be ready to bypass constraints)Knowledge of Front-End technologies (pure JavaScript and TypeScript)Understanding Git-based version control services CI/CD pipeline understandingExperience with Shopify Plus, understanding of its capabilities in comparisonw with BasicSelf-management and Leadership skills

Nice to have

Experience with FE platforms e.g. React.JS, even better if Full stack developer (Node.js)Azure Cloud  (Azure Functions, Azure WebApps, Azure Service Bus) or any other CloudUnderstanding of PIM/ERP systems (products, prices etc.) and experience of integrations in Shopify
