About this rolePFF is seeking an experienced UX/UI, Front-End Developer to build the front-end experience at the center of PFF’s newest business and join our growing technical team. You’ll work as part of a cross-disciplinary, agile group to deliver first-class software solutions that help power PFF’s growth in our newest venture. You’re self-motivated, collaborative, and able to operate effectively at every stage of the software development process. Our stack of choice is Elixir, TypeScript, and React with Postgres as the database tier..PFF has offices in Cincinnati, Ohio however this is a full-time and remote position and the candidate must be based in the United States or United Kingdom. Candidates with Elixir and React experience will be fast-tracked.
Essential ResponsibilitiesDesign and Develop modern web applicationsDevelop reusable components using TypeScript and ReactDesign and develop user-friendly user interfaces that are responsive and intuitiveDesign, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software within a project scope ensuring that the work product meets end-user acceptance criteriaManage self-directed assignments to resolve software defects or implement features to meet schedule commitments with a high level of qualityEstimating and scoping development tasks and making recommendations for innovations and improvements relating to software component designs.
