OverviewRTeams is expanding its development team and is in search of a skilled React Developer. This remote position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in building scalable, high-quality, and high-performing web applications. The React Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications using the React open-source library ecosystem.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.Translate wireframes and designs into high quality code.Monitor and improve front-end performance.Document application changes and develop updates.Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.Review application requirements and interface designs to ensure compatibility with existing applications.Identify web-based user interactions and implement highly-responsive user interface components via React concepts.

Technical RequirementsCore Skills & KnowledgeThorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.Proficiency with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.Experience with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token.Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.A knack for benchmarking and optimization.

Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 3 years of professional experience in React development.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.Prior experience with popular UI design frameworks such as Material-UI, Ant Design, or React-Bootstrap.Experience with responsive and adaptive design.Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring application will adhere to them.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
