JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities:Responsible for the development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects.Working closely with other developers, designers, business and systems analystsDevelop applications. Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines and governance for web applications and web sites.Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes. Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction.Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs Testing and evaluating new programs Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modificationsWriting and implementing efficient code Determining operational practicality Developing quality assurance procedures Deploying software tools, processes and metrics Maintaining and upgrading existing systemsThis position will work closely with the product operations team to implement solutions around internal tooling to help drive developer productivity.
Must have:At least 5+ years of experience with Java & Python. Experience working on platform systems, creating and maintaining them. Experience with JSON.Experience working on the migration of scripts.
Technical qualifications:Technical Degree or related discipline Experience in designing and building applications in various languages.In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development toolsProgramming language: sql + any other common languages(java, c++, c#, python, scala, golang etc.)Data processing tools: spark or pandasOther tools: gitNice to have: enjoys leveraging LLM tools to be self sufficient
