Lambda/Typescript Developer (31457)

Myticas's direct client based out of Chicago, IL is currently seeking a Sr AWS/TypeScript Developer for a 100% Remote contract position.

NOTE: W2 ONLY and this position requires a 2-step background check process which may take 6-8 weeks for completion.

Responsibilities:Participates in complex application development lifecycle activities such as application architecture, design, code review, and testingDevelops, maintains, and enhances high quality software code in accordance with established organization standards and development guidelinesProduces technical documentation that accurately and thoroughly depicts the software design and code baseEnsures best practices for coding, architecture, and security are consistently employed across all teams, and maintains responsibility for the quality development of applications.Maintains robust understanding of business processes and needs in order to deliver accurate solutions

Required Skills:3-5 years of direct work related experience Must have experience building public facing applications using: o Object Oriented Analysis and Design o AWS Services - Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, VPC, API Gateway, ECR o Terraform o Typescript o Jest unit test framework o Docker o Git

Nice to have Skills:Other AWS Services (i.e. RDS, ECS) o NodeJS o GitLab o Angular v16+ o Python o Cypress o Other OOP language experience (Java)
