LeadVenture is looking for a NetSuite Developer and Administrator that will be the technical subject matter expert responsible for the NetSuite platform and various modules and add-ons. He/she will support and monitor all operational aspects of NetSuite and the use of the system by the business.
This includes providing strategic direction, managing and/or performing configuration changes, maintaining strong internal controls, provide end user troubleshooting, training team members, designing and implementing searches and reports, perform system testing, managing integrations, and meaningfully moving the platform forward to always be best in class. The NetSuite Developer and Administrator will be a business partner and work with internal stakeholders and outsourced partners to define the roadmap and strategy for ongoing software maintenance, enhancements, and customizations.
Here is more of what you'll get to do:
Provide thought leadership and be subject matter expert for all NetSuite technical projects related to implementation of new functionality and 3rd party integrations & add-ons, focused on simple and scalable solutions. Coordinate the implementation and customization of add-on modules (e.g. Billing, Tax, Payment Tokenization, Customer Portal, etc.) Develop new functionality to meet business needs while maintaining a scalable system. Document and gain consensus on any new requirements of the business. Document business processes and requirements Document design alternatives Configure approved functionality Coordinate administrative and user acceptance testing Identify training materials and tools needed for roll-out Perform NetSuite administrative functions such as customizations of forms, fields, reports and create saved searches, dashboards, workflows, employee access management and financial reporting support. Proactively assess upgrades/releases and manage/communicate any potential impact or implications of scheduled releases on the Business. Create and execute a test plan and tests in Sandbox to be utilized prior to upgrades, ensuring all functionality works as expected and without interruption. Manage technical and strategic NetSuite vendor relationships, focused on maintaining a partnership that provides a detailed roadmap and ensure all issues are addressed in an expedited manner. Maintain system documentation on the implemented processes. Support data migrations and mass systems updates of transactional and master data. Support the ongoing onboarding of existing and new divisions into NetSuite. Develop and maintain workflows and processes in NetSuite to optimize the platform, including integration with complementary add-ons. Provide subject matter expertise, and training to users, company employees, and contractors. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and documentation of NetSuite functionality, customizations and integrations, and proactively identify opportunities for process and workflow improvements. Monitor trends in user and data integrity issues and suggest improvements. Document system protocols and best practices. Research best practices, tools and techniques to evolve our best in class NetSuite implementations.
You'll Thrive in This Role If You:
5-7 years’ configuration, administration and/or development experience with NetSuite. Particular experience with complex subscription management Billing processes and modules (e.g. Zone Advanced Billing preferred). Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred. Prior experience with software as a service and private equity-backed technology companies preferred. Experience with specific add-ons/integrations a plus: Zone Advanced Billing Avalara Concur Paystand or other payment gateways Adaptive Salesforce Team player, with collaborative communication focus. Effectively prioritize work across competing requests. Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of assignments in parallel. Ability to work independently with limited supervision; take proactive role in executing assignments. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
