Client Company: Mercury Insurance - Orange County Required SkillsWe need a seasoned Hands-on Guidewire Policy Center Developer (True Hands-on Developer), working with On-Prem version – Guidewire 10. Must have Core Java /J2EE Enterprise (Spring Boot, Webservices, and Rest Services) Strong experience with SQL Entities (They will ask questions about this during the interview) Project efforts will be focused on Configuration (Product Model, Ratings, Forms) and Integration (With third party vendors or into other guidewire suites Billing & Claims) Job DescriptionOur Client is looking for a highly skilled Hands-on Developer with strong Guidewire Policy Center and Java/J2EE Enterprise skills to join their Commercial Insurance Team.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both Java and Guidewire and be able to develop and maintain complex web applications.?ResponsibilitiesDesign, Develop and maintain Java and Guidewire based systems. Strong Guidewire Policy Center experience is required.Work with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software.Stay up to date on the latest trends in Enterprise level frameworks and platforms.Will be responsible for researching and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems and system integrations.Assisting in defining best practices, defining standards, developing code libraries and Proof of Concepts.Preparing Detailed Specifications or Design from which programs will be written.Code/configure, unit test, review code, debug, document, and maintain complex software applications, in an environment that continuously introduces leading-edge technologies.This position may be required to lead a medium sized development team and mentor other less experienced developers.Notes2 step interview process, first interview will be a 1 hour Teams Video Interview with the Manager and a few developers, then a second round will be conducted with the Tech Leads.. Must work in the PST time zone, Core hours would be approximately 9:00am to 6:00pm PST Monday through Friday, but they may have some calls as early as 8:00am PST with the India team.
