About the roleWe’re looking for a full-time Software Engineer with solid React.js skills.You will work with a small, close-knit team of top engineers.You will go from 0 to 1 on the core product initiatives.You will be given a lot of autonomy and the chance to learn faster than anywhere else.We are looking for a rebel with a growth mindset who loves taking ownership, has excellent communication skills, and has a "can-do" attitude towards technical challenges and innovation.Our tech stack consists of JavaScript and React in the front-end; Python, MongoDB, FastAPI, AWS, Heroku in the back-end.

We have a hybrid setup (2x a week in the office in Milan, Italy) but are OK with a full remote setup.

About you2-4 years of relevant experience building web products. It is OK if this is your first “paid job”, assuming you have built web products in your backyard.We don’t care if you have a University degree or not. We care about what you built before, and we hope you can amaze us with what you plan to do in Glaut!You are comfortable with a high level of ambiguity.You are excited about wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving environment.You get $h#t-done and have a proactive mindset. What you’ll doUser research: Working directly with the Tech Lead and UX Lead to understand the customer and make decisions on the product that will lead to a better user experience.User interaction: Managing user inputs, ensuring they are effectively processed and integrated with our back-end systems.Maximize performance: Focus on optimizing our application for speed and scalability and ensuring a great user experience.

Your SkillsReact.js expertise: Strong proficiency in React.js, capable of building complex, responsive UIs.Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of asynchronous requests and handling complex JSON objects.Aesthetic sense: Good design sense, understanding how to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.Bonus points: Experience handling media streams (both input and output).

Our offerThis role's estimated base salary range is between $30k and $45k, plus a competitive stock option package. Base salary is determined by several factors, such as software development expertise, previous working experience, and location.
