ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust backend APIs using Node.js and Javascript.Craft unit tests to ensure code quality and long-term maintainability.Build and manage secure, scalable backend systems on Linux servers.Leverage automation tools like Github Actions to streamline workflows for pull request reviews and deployments.Collaborate effectively with front-end developers and other engineers to translate requirements into exceptional solutions.Optimize backend systems for peak performance and scalability.Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues with a keen eye.Stay on top of the latest trends and technologies in the JavaScript and Node.js landscape.
Required Skills and Qualifications+6 years as a Javascript Backend Developer with a focus on Node.js.A solid understanding of Javascript best practices and design patterns.Experience building and deploying APIs using Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express.js).Expertise in unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.Hands-on experience working with Linux servers and familiarity with command-line tools.Proficiency in Git version control and Github automation using tools like Github Actions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster a strong team environment.The ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work settings.A burning passion for crafting high-quality, efficient, and highly scalable software.
