Key Responsibilities:New Relic Implementation and Configuration: Design, implement, and manage New Relic monitoring solutions across various applications and services.Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor application performance and infrastructure health, using New Relic to identify and resolve performance issues.Custom Dashboard Development: Create and maintain custom dashboards, reports, and alerts in New Relic to provide real-time insights and proactive monitoring capabilities.Incident Management: Participate in incident response and root cause analysis, leveraging New Relic data to troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues.Optimization: Work closely with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability based on insights gained from New Relic.Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on New Relic configurations, best practices, and troubleshooting guides. Provide training and support to other team members on the effective use of New Relic.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, IT Operations, and Software Development, to integrate New Relic into the overall application lifecycle and infrastructure management processes.Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in New Relic features and best practices, and implement relevant updates and improvements.Required Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in application performance monitoring and optimization using New Relic.Technical Skills:Proficiency in configuring and managing New Relic APM, Browser, Infrastructure, Synthetics, and Insights.Strong understanding of application architecture, including microservices, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell, Ansible).Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: New Relic certifications or equivalent industry-recognized certifications.Additional Tools: Familiarity with other monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, Grafana).Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning, with a focus on staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
