Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve innovative software at scale Contribute across the entire development cycle from initial specs, through prototyping, dev, testing, delivery and optimization Self-manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables Keep it (your code) clean! Be thoughtful, intentional and focus on well-designed code rather a release for releases sake! TDD and Designed for Automation is the goal! Eat, sleep, drink, serve Python all day! Linux is life! Own, manage, design and integrate countless 3rd party APIs

Requirements

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent 5+ years Python Dev (of course other languages are nice to have on top) 5+ years bulletproof coding with fault tolerance in mind 5+ years of Linux experience Experience in massive and/or complex systems (parallel and distributed) Experience with API design (JSON, REST) Experience in security software development (a plus) Experience in data backup systems and software (a plus) No C2C or Sponsorship Available at this time.

Salary: $100,000 - 120,000
