Senior UX Developer

Job Description

As a Senior UX Developer you will focus on coding the front-end of our software. You will work closely with UX Designers to build prototypes in our UX Style Guide and you’ll also be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle. You’re expected to have a keen eye for pixel-perfect design and an extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS/SASS/LESS, JavaScript and React.

Architecture And Design

Design robust, scalable, and maintainable web application architectures.Experience with design tools such as Figma and Sketch.Proficiency in UI/UX design using frameworks like Bootstrap.Experience working in Agile teams and knowledge of frameworks like Scrum.Develop and manage official UX Style Guide. Atlassian Suite experience a must.

Coding And Implementation

Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in HTML, CSS/SASS/LESS, JavaScript, React, and other relevant technologies.Implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.Knowledge of source control & versioning tools like BitBucket and Git.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Evaluate and recommend technologies, 3rd-party tools, and frameworks to enhance development efficiency.

Collaboration

Work closely with UX Designers to implement design specifications and ensure a seamless user experience.Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end logic with server-side components.Familiarity with project management & collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence and MS Teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Performance Optimization

Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal speed and responsiveness of web applications.Implement and advocate for best practices related to web performance.

Testing And Quality Assurance

Develop and implement testing strategies, including unit testing and integration testing.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free applications.

Continuous Learning

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development.Proactively share knowledge and insights with the Product Team (UX Designers, Product Managers, engineers, etc.)
