Role DescriptionWorking under the direction of the Program Lead and Architect , the Senior Software Developer position is a meaningful role in the delivery of high quality technical projects to our customers. Senior Software Developers work under general direction and are responsible for combining mature technical knowledge with mentoring skills to contribute to the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of all work completed under their guidance.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement software for technology based products or applicationsApply knowledge of programming techniques to plan, develop, test and document computer applicationsCreate, maintain and implement the source codeDesign prototypesSpecify program unit structure and conduct verification on own designsBe comfortable with uncertain, incomplete or ambiguous informationAnalyze complex business needs presented by clients and contribute to the solution of complex technical problems with senior level skillDevelop novel and creative solutions to complex business and technical problemsMake decisions and recommendations taking into consideration an appropriate balance of business goals and technical goalsModify methods, techniques and procedures to achieve desired resultsLead projects from a technical perspective and provide technical guidance to less experienced staffAlter approach or recommend broader procedural changes to improve the effectiveness of the delivery teamConsistently produce output that is trusted as accurate, sound and viableProvide leadership on projects relating to configuration, application and/or integration of company products to meet customer’s business requirementsIdentify design problems and collaborate with others to resolveConsult with others as required on matters with broad implicationsCultivate and contribute to our unique creative and collaborative culture and working environmentBe a role model for our values; developing others and building strong collaborative teamsCommunicate thought leadership and standard processes both internally as well as externally
