Salesforce Developer

Job Description: We are looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer with a strong background in e-commerce web application development and excellent technical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop functionality and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities: Designing and developing websites using Bootstrap, HTML5, SCSS, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.Skilled in HTML, CSS, jQuery events, and responsive web development.Developing templates and content slots using ISML, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS, and AJAX, and integrating them with Pipelines/Controllers/SFRA on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware SiteGenesis) platform.Developing web-based e-commerce projects on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Shopify platforms.Analyzing, debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems related to e-commerce and SFCC implementation.Debugging application code.Coding web pages following the best Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques.Developing, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations.Must Haves: Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent experience.3-5 years of hands-on experience in developing web-based, e-Commerce projects on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)/Demandware with a strong focus on front-end development.Proficient in SFCC ECMAScript, XML, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, JSON object definition, Java, and Node.js.Experienced in using Pipelines, JS Controllers, ISML Templates, and real-time data exchange via web services.Solid understanding of Business Manager and job configuration.Expertise in Source Control (GitHub)Knowledgeable in source control and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.Experience working on Agile development teams, preferably using SCRUM.Strong ability to balance multiple responsibilities and take initiative.Self-driven, motivated, and result-oriented.Strong organizational skills to manage a varied workload and respond to business needs.Understands and contributes to efficient coding standards.Good debugging and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to influence and consult on key technical decisions during project delivery, providing options with pros, cons, and risks.Nice to haves:Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer certification preferred.Some experience with PHP/Laravel is helpful but not required.
