Must Have Skills

Skill 1 8+ Years of Exp in iSeries/AS400 Development

Skill 2 8 + Years of Exp in Creating new programs using RPG, RPG ILE, SQLRPGLE, and Control Language (CLP/CLLE)

Skill 3 3+ Years of Exp in SQL

Requirements:

Excellent programming skills on the iSeries platformVery good knowledge of SQL concepts Analyze and modify complex SQL queries, embedded SQL in SQLRPGLE, Cursor programming, SQL Sprocs.Good working knowledge in screen programming Display Files, Subfiles, and Printer files.Working knowledge of Message Queue (MQ), MQ Trigger, and embedding XML tags in RPG ProgramsGood communication skills and the job will involve owning a project task completely based on the communication with the analysts at the client site Good to HaveGood working knowledge in Turnover the code configuration management toolGood working knowledge in X- Analysis cross-reference tool for iSeries.Knowledge of Triggers, Message Queuing for inter-program/ inter-system communicationROBOT job scheduler knowledge in creating and setting up scheduled jobs in the iSeries.Knowledge of normalized, denormalized tables, Star Schema databasesWorking knowledge on iSeries Navigator to run queries and analyze the performance of SQL queries.Knowledge in the Retail Domain especially in areas like Merchandising, Warehouse Management, Distribution etc.
