As we continue to expand our reach and impact, we're seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to drive our growth initiatives.Position: Backstage DeveloperLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: Contract Key Responsibilities:Onboard Existing Services/Applications:Build Extensible and Reusable Orchestration Configurations:Orchestration Customizations and Additions:Automation for Plugin Validations:Service Catalog Capability:Search Capability for Service Documentation:Custom Plugin Development and Deployment: Must-Have Skills:Backstage: Proficiency in using and extending Backstage for service management and development workflows.React: Strong experience with React for building user interfaces.NodeJS: Expertise in NodeJS for server-side development.TypeScript: Advanced knowledge of TypeScript for robust and type-safe coding.Terraform: Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.CloudFormation: Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation for managing cloud resources.GitHub Actions: Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and automation.Jenkins: Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery. Required Experience:Proven track record of onboarding existing services/applications onto Backstage.Experience in building extensible and reusable orchestration configurations.Strong capability in creating custom orchestration solutions and additions.Adept at building automation scripts for plugin validations.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a service catalog within Backstage.Experience in implementing search capabilities for service documentation.Proficient in custom plugin development and deployment within Backstage. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
