About the Role:Joining a fast-paced Design & Development team, your responsibilities will include:Developing custom WordPress websites from designer-provided designsCreating custom theme WordPress (& WooCommerce) PHP templates Updating existing website templates (styling and functionality) across various CMS (mainly WordPress but including Shopify and others)Managing web servers, including setup, configuration, and administration across a diverse set of server and technology stacksAd-hoc troubleshooting and bug fixing of websites, web servers, domain hostsWebsite migrations, website updates, performance optimisation, security assessment, malware removalsDeveloping API integrations, payment gateways integrations, SMT relay integrationsImplementing SEO specifications, including schema/structures data, Apache htaccess configurationImplementing web analytics, and date visualisation setups, including conversion tracking, event tracking, and cross-domain tracking (Mostly Google Tag Manager, GA4, Looker Studio, native platform analytics)

Qualifications:Minimum of 4 years of professional web development experienceProficiency in WordPress/WooCommerce, JavaScript, CSS/Sass, HTML, PHP, MySQL, NGINX, cPanel, Git/SVNHands-on experience with WordPress website development, with working knowledge of functions php and ability to achieve desired outcomes with minimal plugin use

Desirable Skills:Shopify, Drupal, Joomla, Squarespace, Webflow, and other CMSKnowledge of Gutenberg, Bootstrap, and other frontend frameworksBonus points if you demonstrate experience and capabilities with: UX/UI, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and digital marketing tools
