👷🏼‍♂️ What You'll Do:Develop and enhance functions within Voiceflow to improve our conversational agents.Write clean, efficient JavaScript/TypeScript code.Integrate with third-party APIs (like Google APIs and AI models) to add new features.Create and implement functions to connect with various APIs, including Google and OpenAI models.Process and transform data to make sure API responses are used effectively.Work closely with designers and product managers to understand what’s needed and deliver top-notch solutions.Troubleshoot and fix issues, providing maintenance and updates as necessary.

👉🏼 Responsibilities:Write well-documented JavaScript/TypeScript code.Process and transform data for efficient API use.Collaborate with designers and product managers to meet project requirements.Troubleshoot and debug issues, maintaining and updating as needed.

✅ Requirements:Strong skills in JavaScript; TypeScript knowledge is a plus.Proven experience with API integration and handling HTTP requests.Understanding of RESTful APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.Experience with version control systems like Git.Excellent communication skills and teamwork.Fluent in English.Able to issue invoices as a company or sole trader.

🤔 Nice-to-Have:Experience with Voiceflow, especially Voiceflow functions.Familiarity with Google APIs, OpenAI models, and other relevant APIs.Understanding of OpenAI Assistants API and its function calling feature.Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and understanding user intents and entities.Understanding best practices for securing API keys and sensitive data.Familiarity with various LLMs

✏️ Here is an example list of tasks you will work on:Voiceflow Integration with OpenAI’s Assistants API: Integrate Voiceflow with OpenAI’s Assistants API and utilize the function calling feature of the OpenAI assistant. These functions can be implemented directly within Voiceflow or hosted on external environments such as Replit or Google Cloud Functions.Creating Functions for the Assistants API: Develop various functions for the Assistants API, primarily focusing on API integrations with other tools.Custom Voiceflow Integrations with Various LLM Models: Implement custom integrations with different large language models (LLMs) such as Claude, Gemini, and Llama using Voiceflow.Custom Integrations with Third-Party Tools Using Voiceflow Functions: Develop custom integrations with third-party tools leveraging Voiceflow functions for seamless interoperability.
