Mendix Advanced Developer

Key Responsibilities:· Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications on the Mendix platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.· Project Leadership: Lead and manage Mendix projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.· Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise in Mendix development to team members and stakeholders.· Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, UX/UI designers, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.· Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior developers, providing them with the support and guidance needed to grow their skills and capabilities.· Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.· Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including application architecture, design patterns, and deployment processes.· Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Mendix features, trends, and best practices, and proactively propose improvements to existing applications and processes. Qualifications:· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. · Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Mendix application development. · Mendix Advanced or Expert certification.· Experience with enterprise application integration.· Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.· Familiarity with other low-code/no-code platforms.Technical Skills:· Proficiency in Mendix platform, including Mendix Studio Pro.· Strong understanding of low-code development principles and best practices.· Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.· Knowledge of database design and management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
