Automation Developer

Optomi, in partnership with an innovative and fast-growing software company within the Logistics industry, is seeking an experienced Automation Developer to join their team! As the Automation Developer, you will work hand and hand with the entire Automation organization to develop the Automation processes in the back end! You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our logistics and supply chain operations through innovative automation processes.

Experience of the right candidate:Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).Strong knowledge of automation tools and techniques.Preferred experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) software development and customization.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.Experience with database management and SQL.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:Develop and customize Blue Yonder solutions to meet business requirements.Design and implement automation workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy in logistics operations.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical expertise and recommendations.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Blue Yonder systems and automation processes.Perform regular system updates, maintenance, and performance tuning.Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.Provide training and support to end-users and team members on Blue Yonder applications and automation tools.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Blue Yonder technologies and automation practices.
