Job Description:Our firm is currently seeking an Aderant Senior Application Administrator with a focus in Finance Systems but with general knowledge of the Aderant Technology Suite as a whole. This position is an integral part of the firm-wide Information Technology team and is responsible for the administration, maintenance and development of the Firm's financial application suite (Aderant). The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: • Plan and conduct technical design, software upgrades, security patches for all systems associated with the Aderant environment, including Expert, Sierra, Classic, etc.;• Identify opportunities for enhancing and developing the Aderant environment, including evaluating new solutions and automating manual processes with new custom applications and workflows if appropriate;• Act as the Tier 1 support contact for all technical troubleshooting and escalations for the Aderant environment, including providing support to end-users for technical issues;• Maintain detailed documentation of the Aderant environment, including backup and disaster recovery plans;• Knowledge to help troubleshoot custom .NET MVC and Windows applications, custom Aderant workflows impacting firm operations;• Write code, test and update various scripts/services used in the integration with other enterprise systems as well as in house-developed applications;• Be responsible for data tables, UI development, report writing, SQL data queries, technical architecture, and Generic Importer functionality;• Interact regularly with the IT and Finance departments and all appropriate vendors to ensure efficiency and optimal performance of the Aderant environment and associated custom applications; and• Develop ad-hoc and custom reports as requested by Accounting and firm leadership using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and other report writing solutions such as Microsoft PowerBI, if needed. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Applications must be able to work as a senior team member while collaborating with the firm IT team, professionals, departments, and vendors across multiple time zones with responsibilities servicing all firm offices. ATTENDANCE AND HOURS Position requires attendance consistent with the firm's hybrid policy. This position is exempt and the work week is approximately 37.5 hours. The position has responsibilities that may require work outside of normal business hours and will need to be accessible via email/cell phone, as needed on weekends. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 5-10 years of Aderant Technology Suite experience in a law-firm environment.(5) years knowledge of IIS (9 and 10), Windows OS (2016-2019) and SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, SSIS, and SSRS in a Microsoft SQL Server environment, PowerShell and other web technologies (ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, HTML, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks like Angular or VueJS), C#, VBA, PowerShell and general scripting, and basic Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) conceptsExcellent problem-solving skills and a heightened attention to detail are essential Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Environment for Active Directory integrationBusiness Process Modeling, Workflow development experience a plusThe ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities, handle and maintain confidential information, work independently and under own direction and initiative.General knowledge in maintaining and supporting Microsoft identity management integrations, user access reviews Bachelor’s Degree preferred
