• Job Description:The Lead Full Stack Developer will be responsible for executing on the vision by working closely with the founding team to transform ideas into functionality. This includes gathering requirements, shipping features, testing functionality, resolving bugs and incidents, enhancing performance, and perfecting user experience. Additionally, you will help grow our engineering team by contributing to our values, hiring process, collaboration methods, and celebrations. Your goal will be to ensure smooth, beautiful, and user-friendly experiences while being hands-on as a leader and builder.

• Job Requirements:Technical Skills:o Languages and Technologies: Proficiency in JS frameworks, Python and relational databases. Experience in React (front-end) and FastAPI (backend) is necessary as they are part of our current tech stack. However, we are open to considering migration if you can provide a compelling case for it.o Front-end Focus: Emphasis on front-end heavy full stack development with a good design intuition.o Code Excellence: Committed to high-quality, scalable code and passionate about advocating for best practices in development.Experience Level:o Experience: 5+ years of full stack experience but we are always open to considering exceptional candidates with less experience, based on past work. DevOps experience is a plus.

Soft Skills:o Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and decisions.o Leadership: Ability to lead development decisions and serve as the primary point of contact for development-related matters. Capability to manage projects and lead a team in the future.o Teamwork: Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.o Self-Starter: Proactive in identifying and delivering solutions with minimal oversight.o Ownership: Demonstrated ability to take full responsibility for tasks and projects, ensuring accountability and striving for excellence in all endeavors.

• Location:o Remote: Position is remote, with candidates based in India.o Working Hours: Availability to accommodate partial overlap with EST-friendly working hours.

• Key Responsibilities:o Translate requirements and ideas into functional and scalable software solutions.o Manage the end-to-end development process, including feature conceptualization, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.o Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable code for the front-end and backend.o Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.o Collaborate with team members to define and implement the best practices and coding standards.o Contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team.
