Senior Backend Developer

Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer with a strong focus on C#, API development, AutoCAD integration, and Document Management Systems to join our dynamic and growing tech company in the fast-paced semiconductor market. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend solutions that support our industry-specific applications. You will work closely with our front-end, design, and product teams to deliver seamless and efficient backend functionalities. A passion for technology and experience with cloud storage solutions like Dropbox, OneDrive, or BIM360 will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions with a strong emphasis on API development and integration. Integrate AutoCAD functionalities into our applications to support design and modeling requirements. Develop and manage document management systems ensuring secure and efficient handling of large volumes of data. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Optimize backend processes for maximum efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for backend development. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in backend technologies and integrate them into our solutions. Troubleshoot problems in the team and for users, ensuring smooth operation of backend services. Oversee and drive projects forward, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Coach and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Suggest new ideas using new technologies to improve our products and processes.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a Backend Developer with strong proficiency in API development and integration. Extensive experience with AutoCAD APIs and integrating AutoCAD functionalities into applications. Strong background in developing and managing document management systems. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. Proven track record of implementing robust security practices including authentication, authorization and encryption. Experienced in writing complex stored procedures and views and in performance tweaking them. Knowledgeable in many caching implementations such as Redis caching. Proficiency in backend programming languages with a strong focus on C# and JavaScript/Node.js. Experience with cloud storage solutions like Dropbox, OneDrive, or BIM360. Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience with database management systems, particularly SQL and NoSQL databases. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proven track record of leadership and mentoring junior developers. Desire and experience of hosting developer workshops to demo new technologies and push the company to adopt them Technical and consumer awareness. Analytical skills and good at time management. Great problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team. Curiosity about new technologies and excitement to find ways to implement them in your work. Strong interest in AI and industry trends/tools, with a demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
