Senior Java Developer (remote PL)

We are looking for Java engineers with experience in low-latency high-performance scalable system designs, to join the team developing a firm-wide eTrading Market Data connectivity platform for our client US multinational investment bank. Working in this project will let you:- work on modern tech stack- learn more about financial markets, products and risks.- verify and grow your skills in global diverse team.

Responsibilities:- Design and develop software components for strategic eTrading Market Data connectivity platform built on Java- Coordinate efforts with local developers and wider global team.- Do scalability and performance optimizations.- Manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release.- Review, test and debug team members' code- Document development phases- Identify and analyze user requirements.- Selection of the most suitable solutions for creating a product- Compliance with deadlines

Mandatory Skills Description:- 7+ years of hands-on experience using Java technology stack ideally with low-latency java processes .- Solid core Java, Memory Management and Multithreading experience- Understanding of low-level network protocols (can explain TCP\UDP protocols)- Experience with SQL and microservices- Problem-solving abilities- The ability to prove their point of view to the customer.- Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:- FIX protocol knowledge- Capital Markets knowledge
