Software Developer – VB.Net / C#Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Software Developer to join their team. This is a prime opportunity to work with a leading organization in their industry.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Backoffice Development Team in an agile frameworkConsistently achieve sprint goals.Develop applications in C#, with a focus on new feature development.Maintain and update the existing VB6 codebase.Conduct development testing, debugging, and bug fixing.Utilize Azure DevOps tools for efficient product delivery.Participate in daily scrum ceremonies to align team goals and objectives.Work closely with the QA team to ensure high-quality project delivery.Consult with Project Managers and Senior 3rd Line Support as needed.

Requirements:5+ years of experience with VB6 and VB.Net.Degree or diploma in a computing discipline, specializing in software development.In-depth understanding of software architecture and lifecycle processes.Hands-on experience with VB6.Knowledge of REST API integrations.Proficiency in SQL and MS SQL Server, or other relational databases.Experience in creating and maintaining SQL stored procedures.Proficiency in an object-oriented language (e.g., C#, C++).Application development experience on the Microsoft .NET platform.Familiarity with cloud computing services such as Azure.Experience in software testing.Experience in developing and designing retail software is a plus.Familiarity with GitHub is advantageous but not mandatory.
