About the Role: Job Title: Perl DeveloperDay-to-Day: Ascendion is looking for a Perl Developer for their Business Services organization.This candidate will be performing daily standup meetings with project management methodology using Kanban.They will be managing tickets and work towards a monthly release cycle, deciding two weeks prior to release what features will be included.The candidate will provide support to the QA team by executing smoke tests and resolving blockers identified during testing.The candidate will also be showcasing completed features to the product team and present successful implementations to other groups / verticalsMust Haves: 5+ years experience in Perl programmingProficiency in backend coding with Perl (65% of work)Experience with data manipulation in PerlExperience with front-end development (35% of work)Experience troubleshooting issues2-3 years of experience working on Linux systems.2-3 years of experience dealing with MySQL database.2-3 years of experience using Apache web servers.Several years of experience using JQuery and Javascript on the front-end.? Location:Remote Salary Range:The salary for this position is between $90,000 - $92,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skill, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
