Large Los Angeles based healthcare system of hospitals, clinics, and primary care providers is looking to hire a Talend / ETL Developer for a 12 month contract. Local/Hybrid candiated prefered, fully remote is okay.
ETL / Talend Developer will develop and test reliable and complex ETL processes to support new development of the enterprise data warehouse and other business intelligence projects. The position will work in the IS team on data quality routine, data transformation, relational database, big data system. Guided by senior ETL team members, the ETL Developer will work on automation, job scheduling, dependencies monitoring and maintenance of ETL mappings documentation. Also, this role ensuring data integrity, maintaining system security, extracting, analyzing and transforming data. Applies learned skills to perform problem resolution across integrated platforms, systems, processes and departments. Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Data Warehouse Projects: Support design, development, test and deployment of enterprise data warehouse projects including creating ETL with Talend ETL tool, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, big data platform, Hadoop, Cloudera, etc.Operation Support: Automation, job scheduling, dependencies monitoring and maintenance of ETL mappings, mapplets and documentation.Priority Management: Must work several assignments at one time, follow/meet priorities, deadlines and time. The work is highly technical, requires collaboration across multiple disciplines and groups. The ability to work independently is also required.

Must be able to demonstrate experience with AWS Redshift, Snowflake, RDBMS, NoSQL, HadoopMust be able to communicate the impact and solutions of application/system problems in business languageMust resolve problems entirely by either completing the work or gathering all of the resources needed for ultimate resolution and continuity of problem management.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience3-5 years of relevant experience including programming in Talend BigData ETL tool.3-5 years of relevant experience including programming in data modeling, OLAP, Hadoop, Cloudera, Talend, RDBMS, NoSQL, Hadoop, enterprise data warehouse projects. Experience with Structured Query Language (Redshift, Snowflake, MS SQL Server, Oracle) required.
