Web and Full Stack Application Developer - 3 Months Contract

Join a global leader and innovator in immersive technologies! Our client specializes in creating cutting-edge audio, visual, and voice technologies for movies, TV, music, and gaming. We are collaborating with their global "Elastic Search" team, which supports their contractor workforce across the company, including teams and offices worldwide.

Project Overview:You will be part of a project aimed at upgrading and stabilizing an application developed in Poland 5 years ago. The key objectives are to complete the upgrade, address browser compatibility issues, and ensure the application remains operational for the next 1-2 years.

Role: Web & Fullstack Application DeveloperContract Duration: 3 months

Key Responsibilities:Upgrade and stabilize the current application to Angular 14+.Enhance the Django middleware and object model.Implement Okta SSO integration and authentication.Collaborate with the product manager and team to prioritize and resolve backlog issues using JIRA.Produce technical documentation and maintain accurate code comments.Advise on and execute code refactoring to align the application with current design concepts.Ensure the application is stable and functional across various browsers.Address and complete backlog priorities within the 3-month timeframe to ensure the application can run efficiently for the next 1-2 years.

Required Skills:Proficient in Angular (v14+)Strong experience with Django (v3.1+)Knowledge of PostgreSQL (v14+)Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and PythonExperience with SQL developmentFamiliarity with GitLab CI for continuous integrationUnderstanding of Okta SSO integration

Nice to Have:Time overlap with the team in Nuremberg and the manager in the US is required.Prefer candidates in the European Central Time zone.Reporting to the team member based in Nuremberg.A couple of meetings per week, favoring EMEA time zones.
