Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Tableau Developer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. In this role, you should have a background in data and business analysis. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

1. Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.2. Design, develop, and maintain Tableau visualizations and dashboards.3. Translate business requirements into technical requirements.4. Conduct unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.5. Extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources into the Tableau application.6. Implement data security and privacy policies.7. Develop and update technical documentation.8. Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.9. Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.10. Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or Data Analyst.2. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.3. Experience in SQL and good knowledge of relational and analytical database techniques.4. Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transformation techniques.5. Understanding of business practices and industry trends.6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.8. Knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate or Tableau Desktop Certified Professional is a plus.2. Experience with other visualization tools like QlikView, PowerBI, etc.3. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
