Role Description

This is a contract role for a Java Developer / Backend at Nebula Partners. As a Java Developer / Backend, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to application development and maintenance. This includes designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation. This is a remote role that requires strong Java development skills and proficiency in backend technologies.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Java programming languageExperience with backend development and relevant technologies/frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, SQL, RESTful APIs)Understanding of software development methodologies and practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum)Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within cross-functional teamsExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plusExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and meet project deadlines
