Role DescriptionWe offer a full-time, remote position for an experienced Senior Shopify Developer. This role is ideal for a professional skilled in developing advanced e-commerce platforms, particularly for the furniture industry. As a Senior Shopify Developer, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated Shopify websites. You will be instrumental in creating custom themes, plugins, and APIs. Your expertise in SEO, plugin development, familiarity with the furniture e-commerce sector, proficiency in .Net, and fluent English will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:Design and develop Shopify websites, focusing on the furniture retail industry.Create and implement custom themes, plugins, and APIs, prioritizing scalability and maintainability.Apply SEO strategies to maximize online visibility and effectiveness.Work collaboratively with various teams, effectively communicating technical solutions.Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in Shopify development and e-commerce technologies.

Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years in e-commerce website development, with a preference for experience in the furniture sector.Proficient in JavaScript, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and Ruby on Rails.Demonstrated experience in custom Shopify theme, plugin, and API development.Strong knowledge of Shopify API and integrating third-party applications.Experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify POS, and Shopify App Development (preferred).Solid understanding of SEO principles in the e-commerce context.Proficient in source control management using Git and GitHub.Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.Knowledge of .Net development is a significant plus.Familiarity with Agile methodologies, project management, and tools like ClickUp.Experience in developing headless e-commerce websites.
