Senior Backend Developer (Remote)

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Backend Developer.Proficiency in C .NET Core/6/7.Expertise in Clean Code principles, TDD, SOLID, and Clean Architecture.Experience working with distributed systems/microservices.Strong problem-solving skills.Experience in payment provider or financial services (preferred).Excellent communication skills for discussing technical experience confidently and clearly.Experience with Azure services (Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vaults) is a plus but not essential.

Must have:Solid understanding of Agile methodologies in practical work scenarios.Ability to perform all necessary roles within an agile development team.Experience contributing to continuous improvement within the team.Skills in mentoring and assisting junior team members through pair programming and peer review.Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and well-organized code.Habit of implementing TDD and unit testing for high-quality software.Competence in writing code as documentation and employing various types of tests.

Responsibilities:Architect and build robust systems optimizing performance for speed and reliability.Ensure security and compliance with industry standards, integrating with third-party APIs and payment processing.Transition to microservices architecture, designing scalable modular solutions for improved maintainability.Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.Monitor and log to ensure system health and proactive issue detection.Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical expertise.Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing.
