We seek an experienced AWS Cloud Administrator to join our team and play a key role in managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. The Ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services and technologies with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud administration.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.0-2 years of experience as a Cloud Administrator or in a similar role, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.Solid understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed cloud environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud resources including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, VPCs, and other services as required.Monitor the performance, availability, and security of AWS infrastructure using monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party solutions.Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards across AWS environments, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security controls.Manage and automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, network connectivity, performance, and security incidents.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and security engineers to support application deployment and maintenance in AWS.Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing to ensure data integrity and business continuity.Stay updated on new AWS services, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for optimizing and improving cloud infrastructure.Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to AWS environments, and provide training and support to other team members as needed.Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents outside of regular business hours as required.
