An innovative company providing comprehensive Point of Sale (POS) systems seeks a Senior Java Developer to progress to a Lead position as they are building up a brand new team in the UK.Working with some high profile clients, they are using cutting-edge solutions to streamline operations and drive business growth while creating a wholesome experience for the end customer.

Responsibilities of the Lead Java Developer:Define project requirements and timelines with cross-functional teamsTechnical Leadership & mentorshipDesign & ArchitectureDevelop and improve APIs, as well as effectively utilize themSeamlessly integrate Java systems with third-party platforms and services

Requirements:5+ years of Java development experience & Spring/Spring BootProven technical leadership experienceKnowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologiesProficiency with Git and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Travis CIFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
