PowerApps Developer (.Net)

SUMMARY:Tucker-Rose Associates is seeking a Sr. Software Developer who has experience building software using .Net and Power BI to help support a Federal Program at the Financial Services Center (FSC) in Austin with the US Department of Veterans Affairs. This position will allow remote delivery.

RESONSIBILITIES:Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.Maintain responsibility for activities that range from software design, coding, unit testing, and orchestration.Participate as an active member of the scrum team, providing input to team velocity and sprint ceremonies, planning, demonstrations, and retrospectivesApply knowledge of one or more systems and one or more platforms and programming languages, including .Net, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Power BI, etc. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, etc. (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)8+ years of relevant experience in software developmentKnowledge of Object-Oriented concepts, principals, and patternsExperience in the creation of error-free .Net codeExperience with Power BI and Power APPSExperience in both Windows and web development environmentsExperience with Agile/Scrum MethodologyExperience writing software documentationExperience in .Net 4.x Framework, .Net Core C#, MVC, Web APIKnowledge of creating and maintaining tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggersFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Experience with providing advice, analysis, and recommendations including service-oriented architecture (SOA), database models, data standardsExperience with web-service development, in SOAP/XML, REST, JSON, WSDL a plusBackground in developing electronic health record systems is a plusMust be able to acquire a Public Trust security clearanceExperience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) applications is a plusExperience working in a federal government environment a plus
