Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in legacy systems to join our team. This role focuses on revitalizing and optimizing our existing systems, emphasizing stored procedure development and query optimization within MSSQL Server, backend development with C# and frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand legacy system requirements and devise strategies for modernization while maintaining compatibility. Develop and optimize stored procedures and queries in MSSQL Server to improve system performance and streamline data retrieval processes. Refactor and enhance existing legacy codebase to improve maintainability, scalability, and extensibility. Utilize C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop and improve our web-based applications while maintain backwards compatibility. Perform thorough testing and debugging of code to identify and address issues promptly. Create technical documentation and provide training to support staff on legacy system functionalities and best practices. Stay updated with the latest advancements in MSSQL Server technologies, C#, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

Skills/experience needed to be successful:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and databases, preferably in the medical claims processing industry. Strong proficiency in MSSQL Server, including stored procedure development and query optimization. Significant experience with refactoring legacy code working with C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Solid understanding of backend development principles, including scalable design patterns and loosely coupled architectures. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment and interface with stakeholders. Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA and HITRUST, related to data security and privacy is a plus.

Salary: Starting at $130K and up dependent on experience
