1099 Contract

100% Remote

I am launching an online news / blog site targeting a segment of the tech investor community. The website will generate revenue from subscriptions and monetized content, as well as advertising. I need to attract 20K opt-in subscribers within the first 12 months of operation.

The role I am hiring for requires a combination of skills and expertise, including:

Expertise designing and developing wordpress sites (front end and backend)

Experience Integrating With MailChimp Is Preferred.

Expertise working with paywall and subscription based NEWS sites (you need to show me that you have the experience and expertise to develop a site to compete with the New York Times, or a site like pitchbook.com).

Expertise in content syndication, social media, SEO, SEM, etc. to attract subscribers to the website and drive website traffic

Expertise in content sourcing, marketing automation, online newsletters

Excellent graphic design skills

Experience working for an online media publication or news oriented website that uses advertising, paywalls, paid subscriptions, etc. is required.
