Senior FME GIS Developer

Job descriptionWe are looking for a Senior FME Developer to join a small cross-functional delivery team to design, develop, and deliver FME Desktop and Server solutions for a client in the Utility space. This individual will have prior experience building end to end spatial ETL's and will be asked to provide examples of their implementations. The qualified applicant will have strong interpersonal skills, and feel comfortable and confident communicating directly with our clients.

Qualifications• B.S. or B.A. degree in Information Technology, GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field; or additional equivalent experience• 5+ years of experience as a GIS Developer• Conscientiousness concerning the accuracy, appropriateness, and timeliness of results• Strong professional, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills• Knowledge of the technical aspects of Geography including coordinate systems, GPS systems, datums and data standards• Flexible working style, self-initiative, self-motivation and a willingness to work with teams to meet clients' needs and project schedules• Ability to be self-directed and work independently, as well as a team-player• Detail-oriented and highly organized, ethical• Possesses analytical problem-solving skills• Strong time management skillsPreferred Experience:• Asset Management understanding• Knowledge of ArcGIS, Smallworld and OGC related software• Knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD and additional CAD software packages• Understanding of GIS as it pertains to Utility Networks
