The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with modern frontend technologies and frameworks, including Next.js, TailwindCSS, Jest, MirageJS, Zustand, and TypeScript. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge web applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.Compensation:Daily rate: £450 - £5003 Months contract with potential to extensionOutside ir35Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain highly responsive and interactive user interfaces using Next.js and TailwindCSS.Implement and maintain state management solutions using Zustand.Create and manage mock APIs with MirageJS for testing and development purposes.Write and maintain comprehensive tests using Jest to ensure the reliability and stability of the codebase.Utilize TypeScript to enhance code quality and maintainability.Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high code quality.Continuously improve the frontend codebase by identifying and fixing bugs, and implementing performance optimizations.Requirements:Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks, especially Next.js.Solid experience with TailwindCSS for styling and building responsive designs.Familiarity with state management libraries, particularly Zustand.Experience with testing frameworks and libraries, specifically Jest.Ability to create and use mock APIs with MirageJS.Proficiency in TypeScript.Understanding of RESTful APIs and web application architecture.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.What We Offer:Competitive daily rate: £450 - £500Flexible working hours and remote work options.Opportunity to work on innovative projects with a talented and passionate team.Professional growth and development opportunities.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.
