Red Hat's Application Developers Business Unit seeks a talented and experienced Senior Product Manager to help develop exceptional tools that empower developers and create an outstanding developer experience. You will lead the product from its inception through its growth stages, shaping its trajectory to enhance developer productivity. This role can be based remotely in the US.
What You'll Do
Drive roadmap and program execution by working directly with product and engineering teams across the product portfolio to ensure the solution provides value to the userDefine product vision, features, goals and measurable business outcomesTranslate business requirements into technical user stories with acceptance criteriaRequirement gathering and product backlog managementDrive product growth (strategy and KPIs)Define and use metrics/KPIs to measure success and health of products and impact of business outcomesEnsure key stakeholders are informed and communicate to field /customers future vision & directionAlign strategic and tactical roadmaps with Red Hat’s strategic objectivesEvangelize product direction to customers, engineering, field, and other product teamsOwn cross-organizational alignment and agreement on translation of strategy to action plans
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in product management or equivalent product development experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field; Master’s degree is a plusDeveloper tools industry-specific experience (developer tools, AI, developer productivity technologies, open source technologies, and business models are a requirement) Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IBM Cloud, or similar cloud or application management solutionsCommunication and collaboration skills for providing regular updates with statuses on objectives, OKRs, project timelines, priorities, and roadmapsSDLC/PLM knowledge - understanding the overall lifecycle of products and software to assist with the definition, scope, and planning of featuresStakeholder management experience - managing relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organization such as Product Management, Product Marketing , Technical Marketing, Sales, Architecture, Support (CEE), Customers, Partners and Engineering
The salary range for this position is $133,570.00 - $220,260.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
