JOB TITLE: Senior Mobile App Developer (iOS/Android)

LOCATION: LATAM – Remote

COMMITMENT: Full-time (Contractor)

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned mobile app developer to lead the creation of cutting-edge applications from inception to deployment. In this role, you will be instrumental in architecting APIs, designing robust database structures, and ensuring seamless integration with decentralized wireless networks. Operating within a startup environment, you will collaborate closely with a small team, prioritizing speed, quality, and innovation in launching our network.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of crafting and maintaining efficient data pipeline architectures across various business objectives.Design APIs and database schemas to harmonize disparate data sources into unified, machine-readable formats.Establish infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading, leveraging SQL and AWS big data technologies.Identify and implement internal process enhancements, such as automation and scalability improvements.Develop analytics tools to derive actionable insights from multiple data pipeline sources, enhancing customer acquisition strategies and operational efficiency.Curate large, intricate datasets tailored to the decentralized wireless/telecom sector.Engineer scalable architectures to facilitate predictive and prescriptive modeling.

Qualifications:

6+ years of professional mobile app development experience.Proficiency in either iOS or Android development, with a strong preference for experience in both platforms.Advanced skills in Python, Rust, and/or Go, alongside expertise in Flask and/or FastAPI.Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and raw SQL.Familiarity with CI/CD principles and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub CI/CD, and AWS or other cloud technologies.Dedication to crafting well-tested, maintainable code.Comfort with server management and command-line operations.Deep understanding of internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, caching, and load balancing.Nice to have: Experience with FastAPI, Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
