Join Our Team as a Senior Backend Developer 🎖️

Kanpla is looking for a skilled Backend-Focused Full-Stack Developer to help us enhance our platform with a strong emphasis on backend complexity, data architecture, and performance. You’ll primarily work in TypeScript, JavaScript, React on the front end, and Node.js on the backend, leveraging Google Cloud Platform and Vercel.

Your role at Kanpla is crucial. We’ll define a shared vision and entrust you with finding the best solutions. We value informed decisions and transparent communication. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, designers, and other developers, ensuring your voice is heard and your ideas are celebrated. The solutions you build will reach thousands of users every day.

Your Responsibilities 📋

Develop and maintain a high-quality platform using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.Focus on complex services optimizing data architecture, data relations, and modeling.Helping us scale using Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions, particularly Google Cloud Platform and Vercel.Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases like Firestore.Ensure optimal user experience by optimizing for speed, cost, security, and scalability.Implement and maintain robust security practices.Work on data-heavy projects, such as data analytics, data warehouse, data residencyDevelop performant APIs and ensure integrations are structured efficiently.Analyze logs and perform maintenance tasks to ensure platform stability.Potentially work with AI for demand forecasting on orders.

What We’re Looking For 🔍

Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js.Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vercel.Deep understanding of data architecture, data relations, and modeling.Ability to optimise for development speed, UX & performance, security, and scalability.Strong problem-solving skills and pragmatic thinking.Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Ability to analyze logs and perform maintenance tasks.Independent spirit, ready to take initiative and deliver top-notch solutions.Passion for high-quality, smooth UX, and a modern tech stack.Familiarity with AI and data-heavy applications is a plus.
