Job Title: Backend DeveloperWork Set-up: WFH
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, with a focus on backend development.Knowledge in Apigee and Microservices are considered nice-to-have.Proficiency in C#, such as .NET framework or .NET Core.Adept in using NodeJS and Vanilla JavaScript.Proficient in web application development, with knowledge of frontend languages and frameworks like HTML/CSS/Less and Angular TS using Reactive Forms.Hands-on experience in consuming REST services, as well as SOAP and Restful Services.Good experience in AWS lambda microservices and integration services (OAUTH and OAUTH2).Familiarity with various Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, such as Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall.Knowledge in SharePoint, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.Strategic thinker and creative problem solver with a passion for overcoming challenges.Strong learning skills, good work ethic, and a positive growth mindset.Ability to work well independently or in a team.Highly motivated, determined, and persistent individual.
ResponsibilitiesWrite code for new software applications, encompassing both backend development.Undertake software modifications or feature enhancements to existing systems, ensuring adherence to coding standards.Contribute to the provision of Enterprise-grade solutions by developing robust and scalable backend systems.Perform full life cycle software development of distributed web applications, from conception to deployment.Design and develop new systems, outlining client-side and server-side architecture.Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications to support software functionalities.Manage the complete software development process, ensuring timely delivery and high quality output.Maintain and upgrade software following deployment, addressing any issues or bugs that arise.Conduct peer reviews of developed code to ensure adherence to defined coding standards.Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers in delivering systems from inception to deployment with minimal direction.Promote adherence to software development standards and processes within the team.Prepare weekly and monthly regular reports of progress, keeping stakeholders informed of project status
