Senior Dynamics AX 2009 Developer

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

Location: 100% Remote

Aqua Star (USA), Corp. is a Seattle based privately-owned, American seafood company founded in 1990. We are a leading global frozen seafood sales, marketing, and distribution enterprise. We serve food service customers, such as restaurant chains and seafood distributors, as well as retail customers: food retailers, retail wholesalers, & club warehouses.

We are seeking an experienced an experience candidate with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 development and customization, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to meet business needs. You will play a crucial role in the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions.

Responsibilities:

Customization and DevelopmentDesign, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 solutions based on business requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements for system enhancementsCoding and ScriptingWrite, modify, and maintain code in X++ to enhance the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009Write, modify, and maintain T-SQL code to enhance reporting and Dynamics AX 2009 data mining requirementsCreate and maintain technical documentation for all customizations and developments.IntegrationIntegrate Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 with other enterprise applications, using AIF and other tools ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperabilityDevelop and implement data migration strategiesTroubleshooting and SupportProvide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009-related issuesProvide EDI technical support as requiredCollaborate with end-users to identify and resolve system issues promptlyUpgrades and MaintenanceCollaborate with the IT team to plan and execute upgrades and patches for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009Perform regular system maintenance activities to ensure optimal performanceQuality AssuranceConduct thorough testing of customizations and developments to ensure high-quality deliverablesWork closely with Aqua Star departments to address and resolve any identified issuesTraining and Knowledge SharingTrain end-users on new functionalities and featuresShare knowledge and expertise with other team members to promote continuous learning and development

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldProven experience as a Dynamics AX 2009 Developer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experienceStrong proficiency in X++ programming languageIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 architecture and customization capabilitiesExperience with data migration and integration strategiesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Dynamics AX certificationsExperience with other versions of Dynamics AX (e.g., D365)Familiarity with related Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, .NET)
