Sr React Developer (Contract)

Job Purpose:As a Senior Frontend (React) Developer, you'll join a talented and professional engineering team, with personal responsibility for developing and maintaining new features for SaaS based administration products for one of our esteemed client from the UK.

Responsibilities:

You will be in a very hands-on coding role as a Software Developer in an expert product development team.Work with the Software Lead and UK Software Manager to implement new features using React and the Ant Design component library.· Producing high quality, maintainable codePeer reviewing for quality of the code and knowledge sharing/gathering.Unit testing to ensure high quality of the code being produced.· Create tests to ensure the high quality of the code being produced.· Create documentation for future reference and support.· Work to a regular development and promotion cycle to deliver new features and maintain the existing codebase.· Setting up the right examples by delivering the complex, critical development tasks.· Following the set practices in terms of coding standards, review techniques while striving for continuous improvements. Qualifications, Skills and Experience:· 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in software development.· Well versed with React (Class components), Redux, CRA and associated component libraries for web and mobile development· Well versed with Git feature-branch workflow· Good knowledge of Code Reviewing and feedback· Prior experience of mentoring and supporting team members· Good understanding of reporting, maintaining well- structured documentation· Experience of supporting lead duties when required.· Knowledge of the Ant Design React components framework, Apache HTTP server, AWS & UI Development is good to have.· Bachelor of computer/IT engineering or similar (BCS, BCA, MCS etc.).Open and innovative mindset with keenness to learn new skills.
