Android Developer

Senior Android Developer | 12 month Contract | Up to €250 per day

Pearson Carter are working with a MS Gold Partner who specialize in long term contracts for their contractors. This assignment for a UK insurance client is expected to last up to 12 months.

We are looking for a contactor to begin in the next 2 weeks to begin this role.

Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of Android applications, from concept todelivery and maintenance.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understandrequirements and translate them into technical solutions.Architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable Android applications thatadhere to best practices and industry standards.Conduct code reviews, provide guidance, and mentor junior team members to ensurecode quality and adherence to coding standards.Optimize application performance, identify and fix bottlenecks, and ensure smoothfunctionality across various Android devices and OS versions.

Experience:6+ years of professional experience in Android development, with a strong portfolio ofAndroid applications published on the Google Play Store.Proficiency in Java/Kotlin programming languages and Android SDK.Extensive knowledge of Android UI/UX principles, design patterns, and best practices.Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and integration of external services.Strong understanding of mobile app performance optimization, memory management,and security principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative teamenvironment.Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts tonon-technical stakeholders.Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native,Flutter).

Salary:They offer an excellent daily rate of up to €250

Location:Remote (Brazil/Europe)
