Python/Data Developer @ Remote

Momento USA is a global technology consulting, talent acquisition, and creative development firm that addresses clients' most pressing needs and challenges. We are currently looking for Python/Data Developer.

Role: Python/Data Developer

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Remote

Must Haves For Submittal

TOP: Python development experience

PREFERED: GIS/Seed or chemistry/Crop Protection or scientific data experience

React experience is often desired (front end), but mostly back-end development on this team

Notes

Strong Python Dev - back-end engineering with GIS (huge bonus)

They work with drone data, weather, solid data from various public sources and internally

Create APIs for teams across the organization including a lot of data scientists in R&D

This person will work closely with Andrea’s team, Rinkal that manages the GIS

Mostly within R&D and then company wide

Tech stack is Python with Postgres SQL

GIS data experienceData engineering – back endAWS – Lambdas, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatchStrong Linux/Unix background with PythonDecent knowledge of relational databasesInterest in open-source toolsOther tools – Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc. nice to know

Tech Stack

Back end - Python using Django framework

Front end - React and React Native, Javascript

Prefers people with a scientific python background - knows the science Python libraries

Someone that is ok with critical systems

Need people good at testing their software to ensure reliability.
