Our Connected Technology Group (CTG) defines and drives the digital, data and technology strategy for KPMG. We have an important advocacy role for technology in the market and across KPMG, working with our technology leaders to build our market presence. We cultivate collaboration and integrate tech execution across our business, driving a firmwide approach to how we go-to-market and build the capability of our people and attract new talent.Your OpportunityOur core platform, built on Forsta (formerly Confirmit), enables businesses to gather vital customer insights with ease and precision. We're expanding our team to include a Mid-Level JavaScript & Web Developer who will play a crucial role in enhancing our survey design capabilities and custom logic implementations. Working alongside a talented low-code team, you will help to bridge the gap between technical possibilities and user-friendly solutions.As a Mid-Level JavaScript & Web Developer, you will focus on creating custom code and logic for our third-party survey platform integration, Forsta. This role requires a balance of technical skills, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, as you will be tasked with developing solutions that are both innovative and practical. To support you in your new role, there will be senior developer support provided throughout your learning journey.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement custom code and logic for the Forsta (Confirmit) survey platform.Collaborate with the low-code team to integrate complex functionalities seamlessly.Utilize JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to enhance survey designs and user interactions.Apply your skills to develop dynamic and responsive custom survey elements.Troubleshoot and optimize code for maximum efficiency and reliability.Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and coding practices.Critical thinking skills and ability to think outside the box.How are you extraordinary?You have a can-do attitude and are always seeking creative solutions to problems with the help of the right technical tools and a supportive team.You love being part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team and building strong relationships both internally and externally.You are a strategic critical thinker, and love using that skill to solve complex problems and plan for the future.Your ExperienceProven ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS and the DOM.Experience in developing custom code solutions for web platforms and APIs.Basic knowledge of React and its core principles.Experience with survey design, Forsta or data collection platforms is a plus.
