As a Senior Node JS Developer, a typical day will include...

Developing new features and applicationsCollaborating, coaching, and mentoring other team members while maintaining high levels of productivityUnderstanding the business goals and objectives to build the right technical solutionsBreaking down complex stories into digestible sub-tasks and identifying the required effortWorking within an Agile environmentIdentifying bottlenecks within delivery processes as they occur and being able to help influence behaviours within the team to help resolve these and protect the technical deliveryResearching and developing new features/technologies/applications/integrationsBuilding new microservicesMaintaining current codebase and keeping up to date with the latest package versions.

Experience using Node.js within a commercial environmentExperience working with TypescriptSolid RESTful API design fundamentalsExperience with Version Control (Git)Worked with Relational Databases (MySQL, MSSQL)Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworksExperience mentoring, coaching, and training team membersAnalytical and positive mindset with a personable and professional approachProfessional written and verbal communication.
